Aussies Available for Adoption

Aussie Rescue of MN charges a $400 adoption fee (plus state sales tax) for all available dogs and puppies.

Sometimes puppies are too young to be spayed/neutered, but are otherwise ready for adoption. In cases like this, the adopters must provide a $100 deposit to ARM that will be returned once proof of the spay/neuter is received. The adopters will be responsible for the cost of spaying or neutering. This is required to be done no later than the dog’s approximate first birthday (or vet recommendation) and failure to do so will be considered a breach of the adoption contract and ARM reserves the right to take the dog back.

If you are interested in adopting any of the available dogs, please fill out an adoption application.

All adoption candidates have been screened by a veterinarian, including but not limited to temperament check, health check, spayed/neutered, test for parasites, test for heartworms (if necessary), current on all shots and microchipped.

Aussie Temperament

Aussies are smart, energetic dogs who can be as stubborn as and smarter than the toughest of range stock. They are generally high energy dogs and need some kind of activity in which to focus their energy. All Aussies have herding instinct to some degree. Find out more about Aussies.
